This project is to reflect on the historical weaponization of the camera and its aggressive natureextending to digital and physical spaces. Turning a scene into a digital space - Trojan Horse virus and silent machine viewing. The work seeks to reveal the hidden and potentially subversive power dynamics between viewer and screen, as well as between the filmmaker and subject. It amplifies the technological intervention on the body within modern digital spaces to suggest the disciplinary repetition imposed on data laborers and the latent issues surrounding the digital transformation of labor.
SoundHunter -> machine viewing is the result of a collaboration between a choreographer-director and five performers in choreography. Recorded live and simultaneously during SoundHunter->performance. Using self-programme SoundHunter device for automaticlly shooting, while the repetitive movements of the choreography interrupted by commands at any moment, construct an intertextual relationship between the internal textuality of the installation and the performance.
